You might remember me writing (ranting?) about the Turner Prize a few weeks back.
Well, not surprisingly, the shed guy won.
Some guy takes apart a shed, goes for a bike ride, and they give him 25,000 pounds? Right. I shoulda been an artist...

You know what his next big project is? He's going to sink a replica of a Canadian statue into a lake for a year. Then when he pulls it out, it's going to be covered in zebra mussels. Hooray for modern art!

Which statue? How lame. He was going to do this other project where he'd introduce this fast growing weed into a lake, and it would create an island in the middle. He decided not to after realizing the local government -- who were supposed to fund the project -- had just spend tens of millions of pounds removing said scourge-like weed from the very same lake... So that piece of concept art stayed a concept...
